This restaurant is located in Shenzhen specialized in this kind of fish hot pot. Their fish is from Zhongshan, the special feature is that the fish meat is very crispy in texture. Some people likes but some people does not. There are 3 branches of this restaurant in Shenzhen. The one I went is at LoWu district called YuBenShan 魚本膳. This venue is very clean and tidy. Their service is very good too. I tried both the hot pot and a cooked dish. Both are good. There are not many choices of meat in the menu, mostly fish and vegetables. Some dishes can have a smaller portion to order if you have less people but need to ask first. Their fish for hot pot is very fresh and the soup base is very tasty… actually no MSG and very clear. This is what I like. But after hot pot, you can see the soup turns from clear to milky in color. They have many selections in making the sauce for dipping the meat. The sauce bar is set aside so you can pick your own ingredients for your own sauce. This restaurant is located in a plaza, so restroom is public using the one in plaza outside the restaurant. It is relatively ok. There is escalator and lift you can choose to get to this place. But I couldn‘t see any parking lot around, so the best way to get there is by MTR 黃貝嶺 station Exit A.
